The last version of FanUpdate that was released by its creator, Jenny Ferenc, was FanUpdate 2.2.1. She released it from her website Prism-Perfect.net, but soon the website went offline and there was nowhere for the script to be downloaded.

That’s where the Neptune Network stepped in. We decided that Jenny’s script was too good to be lost in the depths of cyberspace, after all it was still widely in use so there was definitely demand for it.

So we decided to open FanUpdate.co.uk and once again give the script an online home.
